RAKO adopts Multicolor-Rollenetikett in Ellerau

The RAKO-group in Witzhave has extended its print capacity via the purchase of Multicolor-Haftetiketten, which were up to now mainly produced in the digital offset printing. The locations in Ellerau will be led as a subsidiary of RAKO. The broad offset machines of Goebel are destined for capacious orders from the cosmetic-, pharmaceutical- and chemical-industry.

After the takeover the number of six- to ten-color machines is over 60. Thus the RAKO-group ranks among the greatest provider in Europe. In 2003 it is expected to reach group-sales of over EUR 100 million. Because of the high requirements in the cosmetic-industry all latest printing machines featured combination constructions with slots for the offset printing, flexo printing and silk screen printing plus foil hot stamping.
