RAKO Management Policy
The RAKO Management policy and the company- specific guide hold for all employees as well as for every department of the RAKO-GROUP. We apply a management system for the development, production and sale of self-adhesive labels and foils.
It is our politics and an essential prerequsite of our success that both our products and our service meet the requirements and expectations of our customers.
All of us are collectively and individually responsible for the quality of our products.

1: General Principle We are anxious to ensure the quality which our customers request far beyond the asked scope. Thus our adhesive labels and foils shall be understood as quality products at any time in all markets. We remedy defects and mistakes as soon as possible and we do so without causing the customer any trouble. We initiate the necessary measures to keep the environmental damage caused by our products and by our services as well as the hazard to our employees to a minimum.

2: Suppliers Our aim is to constantly deliver our adhesive labels and foils to the agreed date and place. Therefore we constitute with a close and trustful collaboration together with our suppliers and carriers a continuous improvement in quality of the delivered goods.

3: Product Specification As the basis for each new product we always come up with a basic specification that details the customer’s needs and expectations as accurately as possible.

4: Safety We advise our customers of our products and their proper use. If used correctly, our adhesive labels and foils should never pose a threat neither to the user nor the environment. During manufacturing process we are anxious to ensure all necessary safety precautions for both the employee and the environment. As a supplier of packaging for the food industry we take precautions in order to prevent a contamination or a hazard of food that is in contact with our product. To cope with this responsibility and the trust of our customers, we have imposed hygiene rules and process cycles that have to be followed by all employees.

5: Continuous improvement We are highly motivated to continuously improve the quality of our products, of our services, as well as of all our operations. Furthermore we are striving to continuously meliorate and extend environmental protection as well as hygiene standards within our company.

6: Initial Production and Self-Inspection By our organisation of the production we assure an accurate initial production that reduces the necessity of amendment to a minimum. Every employee should be able to test and document the quality of his work independently.

7: Documentation Whenever it is technically and economically justifiable, we use data collection and statistical process control to avoid the production of defective adhesive labels and foils. We systematically evaluate and document the consequences of our actions, the effects of our products on the environment and the safety as well as the health protection of our employees. The following requirements of the DIN EN ISO 9001 : 2008 are excluded: 1. … the implementation of…and post-delivery activities (7.5.1) The requirement of quality management systems “… the implement of… and post-delivery activities” (7.5.1) is not applicable to the RAKO group

8: Juridical Standards We meet the social and legal standards and try to give consideration to them far in excess of the demand. Moreover, we attempt to fulfil all the voluntary obligations.

9: Goals and Objectives The management system is controlled, coordinated and if applicable amended by a representative of the headship. Only in this way we are able to set precise objectives and to hold a sustainable management policy in the future. The objectives are put into practice continuously by the employees.

10: Publication One of our ultimate aims is to increase the environmental awareness of both our employees and our business partners, as well as the consideration of the environmental, economical and social aspects that are relevant for our decisions. Furthermore we are fostering an open and objective dialogue with the various stakeholders.
The management system is continually being evaluated by the management board. As the basis for these evaluations the reports for the internal and external auditions are used. If required, the management board will give the instructions for the necessary corrective actions.
By this declaration, the management board conducts itself and every employee to implement their activities according to this policy. Thereby it is ensured that the quality of all products the company provides meets the corresponding requirements.
