Refining

Different refining procedures give your labels a special look!

Foil hot stamping:
Contrary to classical printing processes hot stamping works without ink. Instead coloured foils are stamped onto the surface of the substrate and then heated.  Gold and silver foils are most commonly used but it is also possible to use a variety of other interesting materials, such as metallized and diffraction foils.

High&Clear:

Danziger Goldwasser

This is a crystal clear raised surface varnish which is used with packagings and self-adhesive labels. The surface areas are accentuated by a relief consisting of transparent varnish. Pressure on the reverse side is unnecessary as blind embossing is used.. High&Clear labels make any labelled product look premium.

Coldpress:
As the name suggests Coldpress, works without heating. Instead a special adhesive is applied to the surface of the label underneath the foil, which is then hardened by U.V. radiation.

Lamination:
Ready-printed labels can be made more attractive and “eye catching” with self-adhesive, high-transparent lamination foils, which vary in thickness and gloss. Fixation is provided by U.V. sensitive adhesives.

Thermographic printing:
Thermographic printing uses thermo-transfer foils with a colour coating which is transferred to the substrate by heating. Special features of thermographic printing include laminar ink application and high-resolution quality.
