DuPont Grand Prix Cyrel Award 2010 Once again the RAKO-GROUP has been award winner! The Du Pont Grand Prix Cyrel award ceremony 2010 took place with a gala event at the castle courtyard in Dresden on April 23rd. RAKO ETIKETTEN has received two of the hotly contested prizes. The prizes have been awarded for the qualitatively high implementation of pre-press and flexo printing at the printing motifs for Rossmann sachets and for the innovative implementation of the new label NIVEA VISAGE Expert Lift of company Beiersdorf. The Grand Prix Cyrel is not only an exhibition and demonstration of packaging technologies and –techniques, but also a forum which is to encourage packaging specialists all over the world to strategic ideas. The meanwhile eighth Grand Prix Cyrel has established itself as a renowned event in the whole flexo and packaging branch.

Print & Media Awards 2009 The Hamburg print magazine “Druck & Medien” awarded outstanding achievements of enterprises in the printing and media sector for the 5th time. The Award ceremony, moderated by Barbara Schoeneberger, took place on October 29th at the Grand Hyatt in Berlin. The prize for the “most innovative company of the year in technical fields” was awarded for the development of visible and hidden hologram security systems and UHF-RFID transponder systems. This transponder, combined with a holographic antenna or provided with a track & trace code, enables worldwide product tracking and helps to prevent product piracy. The “Holographic Antenna” was developed by Hologram Company and RAKO Security-Label, both subsidiaries of the RAKO-GROUP located in Witzhave near Hamburg. In addition, the RAKO-GROUP received a “special mention” as “label printer of the year” for submitting sachets for hair coloration of company Rossmann.

Label Industry Global Awards 2009 - "European Converter of the Year Award" The RAKO-GROUP wins the “European Converter of the Year Award” at the Label Industry Global Awards 2009 and is chosen as the best label printer in Europe. The award ceremony took place on September 23rd 2009 in front of an international audience in the Royal Albert Hall/Brussels on the occasion of the Label Expo.

German Packaging Award 2009 RAKO ETIKETTEN is winner of the Packaging Prize 2009 in the category design, equipment and finishing. The Deutsche Verpackungsinstitut (dvi) awarded functional and innovative concepts enhancing the packaging industry in economic, technical, aesthetic and ecological aspects. The renowned competition has been the forum for packaging solutions for 46 years. RAKO ETIKETTEN was chosen for this prize with the label “Nivea Visage Expert Lift” by 13 experts from 8 international trade associations.

FESPA DIGITALPRINT AWARDS 2008 Initiated by Hewlett Packard the FESPA DIGITAL PRINT AWARD honours the best achievements in digital printing.The prize was awarded by HP to RAKO ETIKETTEN at the Villa Sarasin in Geneva on March 31st 2008. RAKO ETIKETTEN is award winner in the category packaging prints 2008.

*Industry Award 2008* What are the most interesting and most innovative industry solutions? The Industry Award 2008 of the Initiative Mittelstand examined these questions over the past weeks. This prize has already been awarded for the third time. A record number of more than 600 entries were received. Now the winners have been chosen! RAKO Security-Label Produktsicherungs GmbH received an award for the product “RFID Box-Tracking” in the category “RFID”.

*Print & Media Awards 2005* For the first time the magazine "Druck&Medien" awarded outstanding achievements of enterprises and humans of the German printing industry. The prize was awarded on October 21st 2005 during a formal celebration taking place at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Berlin. RAKO ETIKETTEN / RAKO-GROUP was chosen as the "Label printer of the year".

*Grand Prix Cyrel 2005* Since the eighties the Grand Prix Cyrel award is a worldwide competition, initiated by the international chemical group Du Pont and is considered as pioneering contest of the flexography industry. Once again RAKO ETIKETTEN won the first prize in the category of packaging prints / labels.
